Grant funds will be used to continue to operate, maintain, and administer public transit services in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley. They include: (1)City of Sedona Public Transit System, Sedona RoadRunner is a fixed route system providing 20 minute frequency in the main corridor of Sedona, starting in Uptown and turning around at Hillside, as well as complimentary Para-Transit service within mile of the fixed route between the dates of October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. The complimentary service is provided daily 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. (2) Verde Lynx commuter service is provided between Sedona and Cottonwood with eight trips daily. Fare for the commuter is $2.00 each way or $40 monthly. (3) Cottonwood Area Transit (CAT) provides three fixed routes Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Fare rates are $1.00 each way. Demand response (ADA) service is offered to qualifying residents Monday through Saturday. Fares are.S2.00 and $5.00 each way, depending on pickup and drop-off locations. (4) City of Flagstaff, Mountain Links Route 10, a -new BRT route through NAU campus, connecting downtown to west side busi- nesses. Service is provided Monday through Friday from 6 am to 8 pm, at 15 minute frequency, and 10 minute frequency during morning and afternoon peak periods. Fares are $1.00 per trip, and $.2.00 for unlimited ride day pass. Thls route connects to the entire Mountain Line transit system in Flagstaff. At the hearing, NAIPTA staff will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the project. The Director proposes to issue an AZPDES permit to discharge to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions: Public Notice No. 26-10AZ Publication Date: 2/10/10 AZPDES Permit No. AZ0021807 The Sedona Venture Sewer Company 6770 West Highway 89A #234 Sedona, Arizona 86336 The applicant applied for a renewal of their AZPDES permit for the discharge of up to 0.075 million gallons per day (mgd) of effluent as an annual average from a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) that serves the Sedona Shadows Manufactured Home Community and Sunset Hill Resort in Yavapai County, near Sedona, Arizona. Effluent is discharged into Dry Creek, a tributary of Oak Creek in the Verde River Basin. The point of discharge is in T17N, R5E, Section 19. Wastewater is domestic in nature, with no industrial component. Treatment is tertiary with denitrification, chlorination and dechlorination. Sludge will be disposed of at an approved land- fill. Pursuant to A.A.C. 18-11 Article 1, Appendix B, effluent limitations in the permit are based on the designated uses of aquatic and wildlife effluent depen- dent water (A&Wedw) and partial body contact (PBC). Effluent will be moni- tored for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids, (TSS), E. Coli, total residual chlorine (TRC), pH, metals and cyanide. Chronic whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing will be required once in year four of the permit term to assist in determining whether synergistic effects of monitored or non- monitored parameters are occurring.
